SOUNDSWIFT — REFUND POLICY

 

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on the SoundSwift platform, including digital music, audio files, video content, creator products, and any other digital goods offered through the platform’s storefront and monetization features. By making a purchase or selling content on SoundSwift, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

 

2. Digital Goods Are Non-Refundable

All purchases of digital content on SoundSwift are final. Because digital files cannot be returned once accessed, downloaded, streamed, or unlocked, SoundSwift does not offer refunds, exchanges, credits, or replacements for:

- Music tracks or albums

- Audio files or stems

- Video content or video access

- Digital downloads or digital products

- Creator content or premium features

 

Once a purchase is completed, the buyer receives immediate access to the digital product, and the transaction is considered fully delivered.

 

3. Exceptions for Technical Issues

Refunds may be considered only in the following limited circumstances:

- The purchased file is corrupted or cannot be accessed

- The buyer was charged multiple times for the same item

- A verified system error prevented proper delivery of the product

 

To qualify, the buyer must submit a support request within 48 hours of purchase and provide proof of the issue. SoundSwift will investigate and determine eligibility at its sole discretion.

 

4. Unauthorized Purchases

If a user believes a purchase was made without their authorization, they must contact SoundSwift support immediately. SoundSwift may request verification, account information, or additional documentation. Refunds for unauthorized purchases are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

 

5. Marketplace Transactions

For users selling content on SoundSwift:

- All sales are final once delivered to the buyer

- Sellers are responsible for ensuring their files are complete, functional, and properly formatted

- SoundSwift may issue refunds to buyers in cases of fraud, system error, or policy violations, and may reverse payouts to sellers when necessary

 

Sellers who repeatedly upload defective, misleading, or infringing content may face account restrictions or termination.

 

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting SoundSwift support may result in:

- Immediate account suspension

- Removal of purchased content

- Reversal of payouts

- Permanent loss of selling privileges

 

SoundSwift reserves the right to dispute chargebacks and provide evidence of delivery.

 

7. Subscription or Membership Fees

If SoundSwift offers subscription-based features, all subscription payments are non-refundable. Users may cancel future billing at any time, but previously charged fees will not be refunded.

 

8. System Outages or Maintenance

Temporary downtime, maintenance, or service interruptions do not qualify for refunds. SoundSwift will make reasonable efforts to maintain platform stability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

 

9. Policy Enforcement

SoundSwift may deny refund requests that:

- Involve misuse of the platform

- Attempt to exploit the refund process

- Relate to content already accessed or downloaded

- Conflict with platform security or legal requirements

 

10. Changes to This Policy

SoundSwift may update this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
